Voting Member of FDA Safety Committee Talks Vaccines with Inkhouse

Dec 18, 2020 Brendan Monahan

As the excitement and anticipation around the distribution of the COVID-19 vaccine builds and frontline health care workers receive the first doses, many seek assurance that the vaccines are safe. There are 17 medical professionals who serve on the Vaccines and Related Biological Products Advisory Committee (VRBPAC) and are tasked with analyzing clinical trial data before making recommendations to the FDA to approve or reject a vaccine.

Dr. Cody Meissner is an infectious disease provider at Tufts Medical Center and Tufts Children’s Hospital, both clients of Inkhouse. He also serves as one of the 17 VRBPAC members. Watch his recent interview with our Vice President of Healthcare, Brendan Monahan, that provides more information around the safety and efficacy of the vaccines.
