Introducing: InkHouse's Golden Carrot Speaker's Series

Sep 14, 2016 Beth Monaghan
I'm thrilled to introduce the InkHouse Golden Carrot Talk series. Our employees are bringing their real stories to the real world in their most simplistic form in an effort to hone our storytelling skills and bring us all closer. Why did we name them "Golden Carrots?" A dangling carrot is symbolic of motivation and encourages a moving forward. A Golden Carrot story explores a moment or event in one's life that did just that.

Each week, we'll share snippets of each of these talks -- I hope you enjoy them and they also inspire you to share your authentic story.

Since the early days working around her kitchen table, Beth has grown Inkhouse into one of the top independent PR agencies in the country. She’s been named a Top Woman in PR by PR News, a Top 25 Innovator by PRovoke, and an Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year finalist. Beth designed Inkhouse’s signature Storytelling Workshop to mirror the literary hero’s journey and to unearth the emotional connections that bind an audience to a brand or idea. She also uses narratives to build Inkhouse’s culture, most recently through two books of employee essays, “Hindsight 2020” and “Aren’t We Lucky?”
