We began 2020 by publishing our book, Hindsight 2020, featuring essays from the Inkhouse community about moments of consciousness that opened us up to new points of view. We could not have anticipated how much we’d need that perspective to face this year.
This year’s Thanksgiving post felt hard when we first began thinking about it. But when we began asking our team for their submissions, we discovered that gratitude can be more palpable when times are hard. Collectively, we discovered that we're more resilient than we thought. Life gets easier, even when it's hard, when you know what you’re capable of.
We asked the Inkhouse team to answer this question: What good came from 2020? Here’s what they shared:
Since the early days working around her kitchen table, Beth has grown Inkhouse into one of the top independent PR agencies in the country. She’s been named a Top Woman in PR by PR News, a Top 25 Innovator by PRovoke, and an Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year finalist. Beth designed Inkhouse’s signature Storytelling Workshop to mirror the literary hero’s journey and to unearth the emotional connections that bind an audience to a brand or idea. She also uses narratives to build Inkhouse’s culture, most recently through two books of employee essays, “Hindsight 2020” and “Aren’t We Lucky?”
