New Developments in Real Estate

Dec 04, 2017 admin
Our commercial real estate practice at InkHouse is thriving and I'm pleased to announce personnel news that will further our work with clients, which range from developers and architects to builders, planners, brokers and government agencies.
  • Susan Elsbree is now leading our real estate group as Senior Vice President. When she joined InkHouse two years ago, she brought her depth of experience leading the communications team at the Boston Redevelopment Authority (now the Boston Planning and Development Agency), where she oversaw every development and planning initiative that happened in the City of Boston from 1998-2014. In her time at InkHouse, she has helped clients manage challenging issues, employed creative ideas and helped them hone their message to enable success. She is one of the smartest and most experienced minds in the field in Greater Boston and I’m so glad she’s on our team.
  • Christine Lewis has been named Vice President. Christine is working closely with Susan across various client needs. I first began working with Christine about 10 years ago and immediately recognized her skill and commitment to real estate public relations. She’s been at InkHouse for the last three years and her hard work has led to the rapid growth of our real estate practice. As a member of the Urban Land Institute's Young Leaders professional group, she also shares new ideas about where the industry is headed and she mentors and trains our more junior team members.
  • Michelle Hillman joins our team this week as an Account Director. Most recently, Michelle was the Director of Communications at the state Executive Office of Housing and Economic Development. Prior to that, she served as the Director of Communications at the Executive Office of Health and Human Services. Michelle spent the first 10 years of her career on deadline as a print reporter, including covering real estate at the Boston Business Journal where she regularly appeared on WCVB’s Chronicle, New England Cable News, and WBZ News Radio 1030 as an industry expert.
When I first came to InkHouse six years ago, I created the real estate practice from scratch because I saw a tremendous opportunity to apply the creative and evolving approaches to PR that we were implementing for our start-up technology clients to the more traditional commercial real estate industry. I am so proud of how the practice has grown to more than two dozen clients and now accounts for a third of the agency’s revenue. The promotions of Susan and Christine, combined with Michelle joining our agency, position InkHouse as a market leader providing exceptional client service, innovative ideas and unmatched energy and creativity.
